Leaving your accommodation in Marrakech one drive to to the High Atlas Mountains, this trek takes you through small terraced fields with apple and cherry trees and through villages and up among juniper and pine trees along rocky tracks to the pass at Tizi n´Tamatert at 2272 meters. You can take a rest here for tea and take it the incredible vista before you. You can see the route zigzags its way down into the next valley, the river dotted with small remote villages clinging to the sides of the mountains.

High Atlas Mountains

The Imenane valley then we'll trek up to Asoul Summit at 2600M, skirting the village of Tinerhourhine and slowly ascending to the pass of Tizi Aguersioual. The views are superb, sit here and take a rest, either side you have the Imenane and Imlil valleys with terraced fields, small villages and an ancient culture that predates the city of Marrakech.

Our route descends from the pass down to the road and a welcome tea stop and lunch in Berber family house. A few more kilometres brings the trek back to Imlil and transfer back to you hotel in Marrakech.
